  'The Genealogie of The Name of Forbes' (the 1706 addedndum) contained in Macfarlane's Genealogical Collections , Vol. 2 (Scottish History Society, 1900), p223 states that his wife Agnes was 'Daughter to Collonell Fullartone & Relict to Tyrie their Childen Young".
