  	James Restoune, elder, prisoner from Berweek, being interrogat and sworne anent his knowledge of the treasonable peaper above mentioned, denyes his knowledge therof direct-lie or indirectlie ; declares he thinks in his judgement these that were at Bothwelbridge were rebells ; declares he thinks it wes murder in them that killed the Archbishop of St. Andrews and that he thinks it unlawfull to ryse in armes against his Majesty or his authority one the account of the Covenant or any other pretext quhatsumever, and thinks the forsaid paper formerlie read to him a traterous and treasonable paper and that he disclames every part of it ; in the fugitive roll.
