  This George may have been present at the Torwood Conventicale where Donald Cargill preached in 1680 (Wodrow, History of the Sufferings, Vol. 3, p232), though there was another George "in Ashaburne", son of John Johnston in Tailend and a fugitive in 1679 (NRS JC39/2)
